Second Chances~ Handmade Journals

After I had surgery 9 months ago, I was feeling down,
a bit sorry for myself, I just didn't want to do anything,
definitely in a dark place...I found Heather's (Pretty Petals)
on line class for making handmade journals...I joined and fell
in love with making them and writing too. It was a way to
channel all the bad feelings into something positive and happy!

I've made several in the last few months, using all kinds
of little snippets of beautiful things...I had always been a
collector of "stuff" .. pretty little tidbits, all stored away
waiting for something special to be used on...

My journals have no rhyme or reason, just books of
beautiful pictures, quotes, old laces....all put together..
happy to be useful again...Have a Great Week Everyone!

God Bless You, dear, as you have worked through this trauma in your life. God is good and is always there when needed. A prayer goes up for you today.
