Inspired by the beautiful poem ~Rock Me To Sleep by Elizabeth Akers Allen..I've been fooling around with time...I've had this old clock dial forever and decided to use it... I transfered the image of a woman onto it.. I can't seem to finish it ...what does it need???? I'm stuck...

Love the torn edges of fabric. I think it's perfect the way it is. I like that the image is the focal point and what a great image!

It's beautiful just as it is! Given the sentiment, I would try to incorporate clock hands somewhere on your piece to give it that extra something.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I love it the way it is!
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, It look great the way it looks. I also agree with Robin with the clock hands the hand of time always go with the face. Thanks for sharing...Julian
ReplyDeleteOh it's LOVELY Ann! It looks wonderful just the way it is! If I were to add anything, I'd add a little tidbit to the center of the chain at the bottom of the collage. ;) But it's perfect just the way it is!
ReplyDeleteTruly divine my VERY talented friend. I wouldn't change one little thing on it. Not one tiny bitty thing!

Ann, it looks just right to me!! Very charming and elegant, and I would not change one thing! I would just be looking for the right spot to hang it. You are an incredibly talented artist, my friend~ Have the best of weeks~ Love and hugs~ Vicki p.s. I love the quote on it, too.
ReplyDeleteThis is really gorgeous! I love it! So neat how you added the womans image to the clock face. And all those layers are awesome!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous I love the layers you have already created, it is so beautiful as it is so why not photograph it and just make some pretty cards from it or transfer the image to fabric and make something else like a pocket on a linen bag...
ReplyDeleteHugs Lynn
Ps thank you for your lovely commentsxx

Ok...remember...you asked.....I am going to be the hold out here...I think the chain at the bottom is a bit too long...other than that...I would not change a thing.

This is beautiful. I don't actually think it needs anything more, If you insist, I suppose you could hang something from that chain. Something that would drop down but that is all I can think of. You've really created a lovely piece of work.
ReplyDeleteKathy
Sweet Ann,
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! You are so gifted my friend. I don't think it needs anything. I just can't wait to come see you in September, maybe by being around you some of the magic will rub off. Hope the weather is cooler there than here. It was nice getting away to cooler climate last week. Talk soon. Lisa

Thanks for being my 150th follower. I thank you thank you. I will be doing a drawing later to day, but you are so sweet, just for being my 150th, I will be sending you a little something. But you will still be entered in my drawing for the giveaway. I love this piece with the clock. It is perfect, but I am wondering if it is the cover for something. To me it looks like it should be the cover of a wonderful little scrapbook, perhaps all about yourself! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteHow on earth did you get the image on there? It is SO amazing. Wow.
